Introduction to Sammler and Sabine Equipment
History and Origins
Sammler – CS is located in Hessenstrabe Germany which is a suburb of Frankfurt. Sammler-CS was started in 2004 by Klaus Kutschker a former Sundyne Employee and degreed Mechanical Engineer with 14 years of extensive experience maintaining Sundyne pumps and compressors throughout Europe, The Middle East, South Asia, Austrailia and Russia.
Klaus was employeed by Sundyne Dijon France as a Field Service Engineer from 1990 to 2002 when he resigned from Sundyne and started working as an independent consultant support the customer base he had worked for the last 12 years. After 2 years fo supporting these customers he started Sammler-CS as a manufacturer of re-engineered components suitable for Sundyne equipment.
Sammler – CS manufacturing capabilities provides components, gear boxes and plug in units exceeds the competition. Sammler – CS is ISO 9001 Certified.
All Sammler – CS components are manufactured in Germany.
Sabine Equipment located in Beaumont Texas is the USA Service Center and Master Distributor for Sammler – CS. With over 80 years of combined Sundyne experience, machining capabilities and supporting inventory the team at Sabine Equipment is ready to support any level of facility that is running Sundyne or Sammler equipment.
Sabine Equipment maintains and extensive inventory of Sammler components to support all models of Sundyne LMC, LMV, BMC, BMP, Sunflo P2000, P3000 machines. The Sabine Equipment Sammler Service Center has extensive capabilities to repair, replace and test Sammler and Sundyne equipment. All repairs are performed to meet original OEM specifications.

OEM Gearboxes
The removable bearing liner is available on the 50, 200, 400 horsepower models. This innovative change allows the owner to reuse the gearbox housings which eliminates the gearbox replacement in most circumstances.
Manufactured of AISI 4140 steel, utilizes an interference fit and secured with three bolts. Extensive testing and hundreds of these gearboxes in service with no issues or concerns.
Impellers
Sammler impellers are machined from solid stock unlike the OEM cast design. Standard design is 316 SS and all other materials available and typically lead time is 2-3 weeks.

Sammler inducers are machined from solid stock unlike the OEM cast design. Standard design is 316 SS and all other materials available and typically lead time is 2-3 weeks.

Gears
Which material is superior?
Alloy steel 18CrNiMo7-6 is a steel grade added with chromium, nickel, molybdenum, and coal, with range characteristics suitable for all carburized steel grades. 1.6587 material is different from other simple steel grades and can be used for larger sizes and loads. This grade of steel is used for heavy-duty parts and components that withstand high pressure and highly variable operating speeds. Materials and derivatives are used for the production of special bearings, bolts, gears, shafts or racks and pinions. They are based on relevant steel grades according to UNI standards, with slightly reduced chromium, nickel, and molybdenum content. It is an alloy surface hardening steel suitable for heavy-duty and high strain gear parts, with high requirements for toughness with a core tensile strength of 1050-1350 N/mm2.
18CrNiMo7-6 is the best all-around choice. Why: it balances high hardenability (keeps core strength in thick sections), strong bending/contact fatigue after carburize, good availability, and cost below aerospace-grade 9310. It outperforms 8620 on core strength and large-section reliability, which is where many real-world failures live.

Sabine Equipment can repair and restore damaged diffusers and can restore the diffuser throat eye back to original specifications.
